Alice's graduation project

This is a project I made for my graduation. It consists of three tactile books conceived for children from 3 to 5 years old. They tell the story of a little fish named Lino who, passing through dangers such as oil, traps and garbage, finally rejoins his shoal. The aim of my work is to explain to young readers the three major causes of the loss of biodiversity in the Mediterranean sea, using a simple and synaesthetic language: holes, punching and pop-ups entertain the children, while the story makes them reflect upon the issues in it.

Questo è il mio progetto di laurea. Consiste di tre libretti tattili rivolti ai bambini dai 3 ai 5 anni. Raccontano la storia di un piccolo pesce chiamato Lino che dopo aver affrontato pericoli come il petrolio, le reti da pesca e la spazzatura, riesce finalmente a raggiungere il suo branco. L'obiettivo del mio lavoro consiste nello spiegare ai lettori più giovani le tre cause maggiori della perdita di biodiversità nel mar Mediterraneo, utilizzando un linguaggio semplice e sinestetico: fori, fustellature e pop-ups divertono i bambini, mentre il racconto li fa riflettere sulle problematiche trattate.
