Masao Yamamoto represents dreams and interior truths, fragments of the world.
His pictures are objects, little pieces with a big intrinsic value.
His exhibitions are stream of images which tell a story.
His work tiptoes between the world of art and that of photography: he develops negatives without enlarging them and transforms then the prints tearing borders, coloring them and inserting red stripes.

Le sue mostre sono un flusso di immagini che raccontano una storia.
Il suo lavoro cammina in punta di piedi tra il mondo dell'arte e quella della fotografia: sviluppa i negativi senza ingrandirli e trasforma poi le stampe strappando i bordi, colorandole e inserendo strisce di rosso.

La Vida nocturna de los Arboles

 A wonderful book recently bought. Handmade by an Indian tribe, the Gond's, it has been published by Kalandraka, a well known spanish press, in collaboration with Tara Books.

It narrates the nocturn life of some species of indian trees, going throught traditions and legends strictly connected to them. Magic.

Un libro meraviglioso comprato di recente. Fatto a mano da una tribù indiana, i Gond, è stato pubblicato dalla ben nota casa editrice spagnola Kalandraka, in collaborazione con Tara Books. 

Narra della vita notturna di alcune specie di alberi indiani attraverso tradizioni e leggende che li riguardano. Magico.

Delicate and colorful, this paper workshop in the heart of Paris, named Des Plis, reminds us how beautiful and delightful is to play with paper. Opened forty years ago by Serge Barbier, an expert craftman whose creations jump from the minimalism to the most colorful glee, it'is now run by his daughter Juliette with the help of the whole Barbier family. What a wonderful job!

Aperto quarant'anni fa da Serge Barbier, un artigiano esperto le cui creazioni passano dal minimalismo alla gioia coloratissima, è ora diretto da sua figlia Juliette, aiutata dall'intera famiglia Barbier. Che lavoro magnifico!
